Paul's unique and highly successful teaching system is based on over 40 years of experience and includes positions as GM of IMG / Bollettieri Tennis Academy, Paris, France; 18 years as Tennis Director/Head Professional of New Albany Country Club, the 2003 "Tennis Industry" Private Tennis Facility of the Year; 27 years as a USPTA Elite Professional in clubs in Ohio and Wisconsin.

Paul Kobelt has further expanded his knowledge and skills through attending over 1500 hours of continuing education from the USTA and USPTA, including the USTA's prestigious High Performance Coaching Program, and through organizing and teaching over 100 Legend’s Clinics, which featured more than 20 former Grand Slam Champions.

Paul and his staff have developed dozens of players from age 3-4 all the way to successful high school and college tennis, including several Ohio High School State Qualifiers, 6 State Champions, the 2012 ITA #1 ranked singles player in Division 1 Men’s College Tennis and the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's Doubles Finalist. Four players from Paul's academy have gone on to play tennis at The Ohio State University, three are current ATP/WTA touring professionals and three played in the 2014 US Open.

Paul is also very involved with adult and junior USTA League tennis, having organized and helped coach up to 15 adult GCTA / USTA teams every year since 1992, and up to 12 junior USTA teams each year since founding the Central Ohio Jr USTA League in 1998. Paul also volunteers as a Board Member for the Greater Columbus Tennis Association and the United States Tennis Association - Ohio Valley District.
